Robert "Dusty" Caroline, 73, died on Thursday, Dec. 11, 2003 in Fort Davis. A memorial service will be held on Monday, Dec. 15, at 10 a.m. At the Church in the Mountains in Fort Davis, with graveside services scheduled for 4 p.m. At Memory Gardens of the Valley in Santa Teresa, N.M. Services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Fort Stockton.

Charlie Eugene Wein, 75, of Pecos, died Saturday, Feb. 21, 2004. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 24, at Mt. Evergreen Cemetery with Greer Willis officiating. His work career began with Western Cotton Oil Company, a division of Anderson Clayton, Inc., where he served as a division manager in Pecos.

A rosary will be held at 7 p.m., Friday, Feb. 6, at Martinez Funeral Home.Mass is scheduled for 10 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 7, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Arturo Pestin officiating. Sunday, Feb. 15, at First Baptist Church in Miles with the funeral to follow at 3 p.m., with Brother Eddie Tingle officiating. Pallbearers will be Mike Isham, Bobby Kasberg, Randy Gentry, Fernando Reyes, Lee Wilson and Josh Pemberton. R.D. Ross, 83, of Miles died Friday, Feb. 13, 2004, in a local hospital. He was born on Nov. 18, 1920, near Deleon, to Cora Etta Bays and Morgan Davis Ross.

Emma "Sue" Johnson, 72, of Traverse City, died Friday, Feb. 20, 2004, at Munson Medical Center, after suffering an aneurysm.

Survivors include his mother, Bertha V. Marin of Odessa; one brother, Gilbert Vasquez of Midland; three sisters, Luz Rodriguez of Irving, Anna Navarrette of The Colony, Terry Vasquez of Midland and numerous nephews and nieces. Adela T. Jaquez, 79, of Pecos, died Friday, Jan. 30, 2004, at Hospice House in Odessa.Mass was held at 10 a.m., today, Monday, Feb. 2, at Santa Rosa Catholic Church with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Patsy Beauchamp, 74, of Pecos, died Friday, Jan. 30, 2004, at Midland Memorial Hospital.Services were held at 2 p.m., today, Monday, Feb. 2, at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Greer Willis officiating.

Sunset Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Services were held at 2 p.m., today, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Rosario Hill officiating. Survivors include his mother, Amanda Fuentes of Pecos; his father, Roland Baca; grandparents, Severo and Francisca Fuentes of Pecos and Lupe Baca of Pecos.

Lopez was preceded in death by his wife, Maria R. Lopez and one step-daughter, Bertha Maldonado. Survivors include his wife, Janice Caroline; three daughters, Monica Dorazio of San Antonio, Joni Lloyd of North Platte, Neb. And Jeanne Miller of Las Cruces, N.M; one son, Robert Caroline of Knoxville, Tenn., and nine grandchildren.

Gilberto Barragan Sr, 90 of Pecos, Tx, passed away surrounded by his family on Thursday, December 8, 2022 in Pecos, Tx. Gilberto was born in El Comedor to Pedro and Liberta Barragan on November 30, 1932. He married the love of his life Guadalupe V. Barragan from San Antonio Del Bravo on December 25, 1956 in Los Fresnos, they were married for 57 years.
